It’s honestly the worst feeling in the world, sitting and watching someone you love and care about hurt themselves over and over to the point that no matter what you say or do you can’t make them feel any better or even try to change their mind. You don’t know how they feel, so you can’t relate and try to help out. No matter what you do you seem useless to them and all you want is to be strong enough for them, but seeing them slowly fading shatters you inside.
